On one side, the exhibit will display a list of (one thousand four hundred and twenty-three) names of the New Jersey 22nd regiment US Colored Troops. People that visit the cemetery will be able to find their ancestor or someone’s ancestor that they may know. The opposite side of the exhibit will display an “1890” census of officers and color troops from the Gloucester County’s Franklinville, Janvier and Williamstown New Jersey areas; a couple of enlistment rosters and discharge papers of our colored troops. Finally, on the same side will display a bit of information that was left out of history books regarding WW1 and WWII black soldiers; historically and respectfully known as The Buffalo Soldiers.
